Our first build-a-shelter project, now named project Thannal, was aimed at helping build a safe place to stay for a single mother of two. Manjula [Name withheld] worked as an Aayah for a school at Ernakulam, and she was finding it difficult to have a safe shelter for her two kids and herself. Pink shield was to able present her with a safe haven she dreamt of; on the Valentine’s day of 2021. We thank each and every contributor for this symbol of love.
